This Privacy Policy explains how aivoices.in ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform.

1. Information we collect

Account information: Name, email, password (hashed), company/organization, primary use case.
Billing information: Payment method details (processed by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers), billing address, GST number.
Content: Scripts you upload, audio you generate, custom voice models you create.
Usage data: Which endpoints you call, when, and how much audio you generate.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, cookies.

2. How we use information

To provide, maintain, and improve the platform
To process payments and issue GST invoices
To send transactional emails (account, billing, service updates)
To provide customer support
To comply with legal obligations under Indian law

3. What we do NOT do

We do not train our voice models on your uploaded content or generated audio.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
We do not use your content for advertising or profiling.

4. Data storage and security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Data is stored on AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1) by default. Enterprise customers may opt for dedicated infrastructure or specific data residency arrangements.

5. Data retention

Account and billing data is retained for the life of your account plus 7 years for tax compliance (as required under Indian law). Generated audio is retained for 90 days on Free, 1 year on Pro, and per contract on Enterprise. Custom voice models are retained per contractual terms.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023 and other applicable Indian law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your personal data. Requests: privacy@aivoices.in.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser without affecting core functionality.

8. Third-party services

We use trusted third-party services for payments (Razorpay), hosting (AWS), email delivery, and analytics. Each processes data under its own privacy policy and our contractual data-processing terms.

9. Changes to this policy

We'll notify registered users of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
